ABOUT THE COURSE:

This course will focus on health as expressed through the fascial system, as you explore the body as a living experience. It is designed to offer a deeper understanding of the function and dynamic role that fascia plays in our health and well being. Emphasis will be on further developing the therapists proprioceptive and intuitive skills, unwinding and the treatment of the pelvis, abdomen, head and jaw. This workshop will offer the participants a unique and profound perspective in working with this extensive tissue system to affect all aspects of a person's being and health. There is a commitment to learning that is both informative and experiential and this course will allow the participant to not only learn as a therapist but also the chance to be transformed through addressing their own issues. Through individual and group work the therapist will gain a deeper understanding of how clients can act as mirrors to show us what our own unmet needs are, thus avoiding many of the issues that lead to burnout and treatment dissatisfaction.
